Resizing Explorer Columns

So you open Windows Explorer - either via the Start Button or by pressing "Windows Key + e" and now you can see all of the files and directories on your system.

But inevitably, the columns are all the wrong size. So names get cut off, file sizes are way to wide and it just looks ugly.

It's simple to make it look much, much better. You can auto-resize every column to the width of the widest item by pressing "Control + NumPadPlus" - that's the Ctrl key on the bottom left of the keyboard and the + symbol over on the far right hand side of the number keypad.

Try it!  Awesome isn't it? There's loads more keyboard shortcuts and I'll bring them to you over the next few weeks.

Testimonials

I was very happy to be able to decide to buy a new computer one day and have it installed the next! The Service was great and I suspect the backup will be even better.
